:)Doc Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 OK, like I was looking at Neopets big grand calendar and I saw: Nov 15th - Neopets is another year older! (11) Lots of Celebrating and fun things to mark this special occasion I know that means that it's Neopets 11th birthday, but what confused me is... Dec 31st / Jan 1st - Neopia enters a new year! (Y13) Where do they get 13? I mean they're 11 years old, and next year is 2011. Can someone help? :O
Quark Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 TNT made the fatal mistake of forgetting Year 0! They started at Year 1 instead, so it's a little confusing. So at 0 years and 1 day of creation, the site is in year 1. We're in Year 12 right now and in November it was the 11th anniversary. So in January we'll enter Year 13, but the site will only be 11 years and a few months old. Uhm, haha I hope that made sense. :P That used to drive me nuts too!
:)Doc Posted December 7, 2010 Author Posted December 7, 2010 Ohh that makes sense. Kinda. :D We're just always a year before their birthday basically, to dumb it down :P K, Moderators go ahead and lock it up  heh, I've always wanted to say that... no offense :*
