wolf420520
I just updated my desktop to XP (won't let me redownload vista to it?) And I cant connect to the internet. Every other computer on my network works just fine, but the XP desktop says there are no networks currently attatched. Im running on an emachine desktop with a verizon router (model 7500 i believe) Computer networking is not my major, so i obviously fail here Plus I havent used xp since I was 10, lol
antiaircraft
Are you connecting your computer using an ethernet cable or wireless? If it's the former, you're probably missing networking drivers, but XP does have a whole host of wireless problems too.

In that case, you'd need a simple, cheap USB wireless adapter. I'd say if your computer's more than...four or five years old, this is probably the case. Kazedo
Did you install your network drivers? Windows does not defaultly install all your hardware anymore. If you have a netcard, or video card, etc. You will have to manually install all your own drivers. As for Vista, not sure what the problem is there, it -should- let you upgrade it.
