Mazzew
My life has become insanley busy. School, therepy, group therepy, taking care of my real pets(I have to beautiful cats named Jude and Tucker), and even simple things like getting to bed on time and doing non-Neopets things(chores, laundry etc...) therefore, I'm having to put 3 of my pets on my main account in the Neopian Humane Society(I don't like the word pound). I've put Neopets up for the adoption before and wrote down their names to find them and see if they found good homes in which all of them have. My side accounts I will keep in case if anything happens to my main but will primarly use my single pet main account. The pet I am keeping is my level 4 going on level 5 Xweetok Sugar Cookie(or just Cookie for short). I am very attached to her and have worked hard to get her where she is in her virtual life. Besides, Xweetoks are my favorite! Plus I don't have time to play many games on Neopets so my income is very low and would'nt be able to give all my pets the life they deserve. If I were a neopet I wouldn't want to eat in Soup Kitchen and have barley any toys or belongings. That's why I decided to keep Cookie, because she's the only pet I've had in Neopets history that I've said "I can't imagine life without her." I'm very sorry if anyone takes offense to this. Please don't be mad. I'm almost a borderline Neopet Hoarder it feels like, but at least I'll have Cookie. You guys have been so nice to me since I joined this forum. Kuroida
So...you set your pets to the pound....I don't really see why someone would be offended about this o.0 You're still staying on neopets right? Like you're not leaving forever? I fully support your decision to only have one pet. It makes life a bit easier especially if you have no time. I personally was only going to have one pet at first but I deemed it inefficient so I went with two. 4 pets requires lots of effort and attention, something not everyone has so don't worry about too much about it :)
xSilverMistx
no one should be offended at you choosing to let someone else care for your pets since you cant and i think you should post thier names so other people on the forums ccan adopt them up and hopefully they might get a great new home
maldoror122
Why would anyone be offended by this? Seriously. You shouldn't feel guilty in any way :) We all have our actual real lives, and sooner or later, won't have any more time to devote to neopets. Perfectly understandable. Even if you were to leave forever, it's not really any one else's business.
Annie
It looks like you will be pounding 14 (FOURTEEN) pets, since you currently have 19 pets on all your five accounts as of now, all of whom are less than 2 weeks old. Speaking as someone who picks up abandoned basic pets from the pound and zap them to make them more adoptable, I honestly cannot understand why you would create that many pets over a period of less than two weeks, and expect to feed and play with ALL of them. I'm sorry to sound harsh, but I personally think that creating that many accounts and pets in such a short period of time, was a very irresponsible thing to do, especially if you are just starting out. There are enough unwanted pets in the pound already, and there will be 14 more, all created within a week of each other from the SAME player. Knowing that pets are being created only to be abandoned so soon saddens me. Please at least take good care of your one remaining pet. I hope your other pets will find an owner responsible enough to treat them well. EDIT: Looks like I took too long to write my reply. I guess I should clarify that I had no problem with your post when I first looked at it. Then I looked up your account (I'm not a stalker, I promise) and saw all those poor pets. Of course real life gets in the way, and I only had one pet for over 7 years (I currently have 2 pets adopted from the pound, waiting to be zapped and re-adopted), so I am all for keeping just one pet. But, please re-think next time you go on a pet- and account- creating spree.
Mazzew
Thanks everybody for your support in this. Now I'll be able to give Cookie the life she deserves. She already has her dream house in Maraqua~
