The story Unfolds.. Prologue A beautiful young girl around her late teens sat down in a large thrown in an impressive castle. Three other large pink seated thrones were filled by three other woman. The youngest one, spoke first. It is time." Her white satin dress went diagonnally from her thighs down to her legs. The war?" questioned the one on the center right, who had long red hair tied into a narrow ponytail that went on her suit of mahogony armour. "No Quinn." Said the girl with the black hair. "No. When our four friends will come together." The one sitting at the very left, nodded slowly. her bleach blond wavy hair and sparkly ice blue eyes glowed. her hair fell to her hips, and the end was pointed which was curled itself tightly around her arm. One hand fiddled with a bracelet that had an arrow. Yes.." Her voice was soft. "But what if we fail? Then we fight anyways." Said the lady at the very right said firmly, who had short violet hair. her eyes glowered. "My dragons await thier orders." She snapped. Very well Wyvernai, but your dragons will have to wait." Said the girl. really?" Said the lady with blond hair. "why Minte?" because." Minte replied, her snow blue eyes glowed. We have to wait for our four Elementals Ocarina. Until then, we will wait. Chapter one South west in the Faar kingdom, in the town of Larid, Was a young girl who was pacing around an oak. She had maple hair, light green eyes, and slightly tanned skin. her hands fiddled with her green school bag, comepletely unaware that she was being watched. She sat down at a park bench, and pushed her hair behind her ears. She heard a voice behind her. "Serene, dear, you forgot your lunch. again." She turned around and saw her Widowed mother. "Oh, sorry." She mumbled, taking the rolled up paper bag from her mother's trembling fingers. Take care." Her mom whispered. "You dont think I wont?" Serene protested as she stuffed her lunch in her bag and walked off. On the other side, south east of Faar, in the desertish plains of Munchak, was another female, who had a slightly more lean frame than Serene. She was a fiery redhead with light brown eyes. Her skin was quite tanned and looked like a very light chestnut. Her body was scored with lots of scratches and bruises, as if she were wrestling scorpions everyday. Her clothes were from rough leather, and it was slightly torn. Her hair was very straight, and she placed a hand over her eyes and looked around, searching as usual. Her eyes fell straight onto a strange pyramid of which she hasnt seen before. She ran into her hut to find a flashlight. where are you going Rajin?" asked a small red head. "not now sis." Rajin replied swiftly. she ran out and walked to the pyramid. her curisoty got the best of her- she stepped tentivly inside... Meanwhile, North East of Faar, was a small village called Minority with peasants shouting out thier bargain prices to those from Munchak and Larid. Inside one of the clay and mud buildings, sat a beautiful maiden with bleach blond hair that fell to her chest level and was dappled and was in a zigzag formation. her clothes were a fine silk, a beautiful woven blue. Her eyes sparkled the colour of the sky, and her hand passed the small blue gem pattern on her forhead. Being the princess of Vakai paid off. She got up and looked through the open window and saw a Peasant shouting- 'Get rare Gemstones here! Best ever!" The maiden brightened and shouted. RAYOU!" A tall man bustled into her room. "Yes Princess Alieati?" Rayou asked. "Kindly tell me what type of Gems that Peasant is selling. She said. "yes Princess Alieati." He mumbled and sped outside. Alieati checked her nails patiently as the servant returned. "Princess, hes selling aqua marines and opals." He said. Alieati nodded. She tossed him some coins. 'Perchase me one, keep the change." Rayou nodded then went outside again. exactly five seconds later, Alieati was holding an aquamarine. "Thanks." she said, tying a golden thread through the gem and tying it around her neck. "Pretty isnt it?" She smiled and squeezed her new gem. it glowed in her fingers. "huh?" Northwest of Faar, in the small cramped town of Shuani, was a single teen who was walking in the town, looking around with her smoky grey eyes. She had a plate of black hair with tinges of blue that were in long bushy pigtails. Her name was Aslaya, and she was quite shy. She had a tiny bracelet with beads and a single white pearl. the bracelet seemed to make her feel safe. Aslaya ate a small kebab, a Shuani specialty, as she walked unintrestedly around her town. She froze as she saw a small lady with violet hair leaning casually against a wall. She had small black dragon wings on each shoulderblade. Aslaya was speechless, but being quiet, it wasnt a rare thing. The figure spoke. "I am Wyvernai." she said, her black eyes studied Aslaya. 'yes." she said to herself. "Come." Aslaya took a tentive step towards Wyvernai. "Good." She siad appreciativly. "I advise you hold on." Aslaya's eyes widened and clutched on the lady's hand, as she closed her eyes and they both dissapeared with a 'pop'. There was nothing in there. Rajin tilted her head to the side. "What..." she shined her flashlight around; and brushed off the sand that was stuck on the temple walls. "Just a musty old chamber." She groaned. "And I thought-" she broke off; she saw something glitter. she fell onto her knees, and shined her light on the ground. she found it again, and clasped her fingers around the red glittering thing. She lifted it from the sand, and it burned. "Ouch!" she exclaimed, and dropped it. Her hand was charred. "Strange..." She wrapped her hand in a thick bandage, then lifted it again, and quickly ran back to her hut. She dropped it down on the small knobby wooden table, and took an oil lamp. It was a ruby. "Rubies dont burn..." Rajin said slowly. she took off the bandage, and, the burn wasnt there anymore. "what the..." she went outside, and to her surprise she saw a woman with heavy armour and a long tight pony tail. She looked around her and the pyramid was gone. "It wont come back." Said the lady. Rajin turned to the lady quickly. "What do you me-" "It wont come back." She repeated. "The temple?" "What other temple do you know of?" The lady snapped. "My name is Quinn. I was sent to fetch you." "Fetch m-" "Yes! Fetch you!" She growled. "Come here." Rajin stepped beside Quinn. And they both dissapeared. Serene went to school as usual. She sat down and saw something in her desk. It said- Meet me after school. I have a surprise for you! - your ♥er." Serene gasped. "EW!" Her best friend, Jaylin, grabbed the paper. "Hey Serenipoo! YOu have an admirer!" She yelled. "Jaylin, shaddup." Serene snarled. She stuffed the note in her bag. Once school was over, she walked towards the entrance hall, ignoring Jaylin's love coos. She met a young woman around her late teens. "Serene." She said. "EW! Your my admirer?" Serene yelped. The girl winced. "Ugh. Remind me to kick Ocarina. She was the one who said that is was a good idea to write that so it wouldnt atract any attention." "Hardly!" Serene snorted. "Half the school will be here any minute." The lady sighed. "Did you eat lunch?" "No. ew." Serene replied. "my mom always packs the grossest foods." "Oh." The lady replied, her eyes twinkling. "Ocarina was right again. Lets go outside." She strode outside, and held the door open for Serene. Serene went outside. "What is it?" "Open the bag." She said promptly. Serene opened it, and saw a dazzling emerald. "What?" Serene said. "how did that get there?" "Ocarina." The lady replied. "Anyways; squeeze it." "WHAT?" "Squeeze the emerald." she replied annoyed. Serene put her hand in and withdrew the gem. "Who are you?" "Minte." The lady replied. "But it doesnt matter." Serene squeezed the emerald, and it felt as if a strange force entered in a wave into her body. "Good." Minte said, satsified. "Now hang on." Serene grabbed Minte's staff, as the owner closed her eyes, and both dissapeared in a flash of light, and a single snowflake fell from the ground. Aleiati opened her fingers, and the aquamarine was glowing. She suddenly felt chilled, then plesantly cool. She walked swiftly in a circle, and her blonde hair tailed her- waving in the air. "Are you done yet?" Said a voice by the doorway. Aleiati turned around. "No need to worry." said the woman calmly. "YOu look like me!" Aleiati exclaimed. The lady opened her eyes, that shone a sea blue. "Yes Aleiati. We do." The lady replied. "Im your older sister." "What!" Aleiati exclaimed. "But, Im an only child!" "I left Minority when you were young to live in the kingdom of Faar." She replied. "Im Ocarina." "Ocarina, why have you come?" "Because." Ocarina replied. "You have water magic pulsing through you." "Is that what I felt?" Aleiati questioned. "Yes." Ocarina replied. "Lets go, fast." She beckoned her sister forward, held on tightly to her hand, then dissapeared with her. **Author's note: Mehe, like the first chapter? please send me some suggestions for the next chapter! ** CHAPTER 2 Aleiati appeared into a castle room. "Where am I?" She looked around and saw three other indiviuals in the room, who seemed as puzzled as she was. "Who are you guys?" The girl with the maple hair looked up. "My name is Serene." She replied. "Rajin." The redhead growled. "You?" "Aleiati." "Al-ee-at-ee? wow that a long name!" Serene joked. Aleiait glared at her. Serene narrowed her eyes. "How did you get here?" Aleiati sighed. "i dunno. My supposed sister brought me here." "Sister?" Serene's eyes widened with curiosity. "Yea." Rajin brushed her rough clothes. "are we going to sit here all day?" Serene Whirled around. "Shaddup." She muttered. "Shes been on our trail ever since weve gotten here." She whispered to Aleiati, who put her hand on her lips to hide her giggle. "Is there anyone else here?" She asked; back to business. "I dont know." Serene replied. "This place is to big to search for the forth element." Aleiati nodded breifly, until she saw someone. It was Aslaya, who froze as she squeezed her Pearl firmly. "Oh hey." Aleiati said. "Are you the fourth element?" Aslaya looked up blankly. "Are you?" Aleiati repeated firmly. Aslaya drew back, her eyes dancing wildly. A sudden force slammed into Aleiati and she flew back. "Ah!" She said loudly. Aslaya narrowed her eyes. "Who are you?" she asked softly. "Your not in a library." Aleiati snapped, smoothering a wrinkle in her dress. "Aleiati. Princess of Vakai." She added as an after thought. "Serene." Said the Maple haired girl. "I guess a normal school girl." "Rajin." Growled the redhead. "and you?" Aslaya didnt say anything, but her eyes sparkled with tension. "As-aslaya." She said. "Had enough chatter yet?" the four girls jumped. Well, more specifically, three girls jumped. Rajin glared around. "Good." Said the voice satsified. She stepped out of the shadows, and she had black hair that fell down to her chest, with ice blue eyes, wearing a white dress and holding a staff. "Now it is time." "Finnally!" Another voice exclaimed, and her voice seemed to have a hiss to it. She stepped out; or more detailedly, she floated out of the shadows. She had medium violet hair, and eyes as black as pits. She narrowed her eyes, her purple dragon wings flapping as she floated. "Its about time they stopped thier dittle datter. Time for busniess." "Busniess? before you begin offering us cases, we choose no deal!" Aleiati chuckled at her own joke, but the others shot her a bewildered and slightly angry glance that made her stop imediatly. "Well deal or no deal, and cases-" "we get it." Said yet another lady, this time with amber armour and blood red hair that was in a tight pony-tail. She was holding a large spear, and her brown eyes glared at the others, challenging each one as she gazed from Aleiati to Rajin. "So this is our 'Chosen ones'? Pretty pathetic bunch." she scoffed. "Hey!" Rajin growled. "Ladies stop!" said a more bracing voice. "Ah,Ocarina, you join us at last." said the dragon lady. "Yes, I know." Ocarina said lightly. She had curly long blonde hair, with a magnificent blue dress that seemed to belong to a queen. She was holding a beautiful blue bow with silver arrows. "Well, now that were all here, lets begin." The girl with staff said, who seemed to be the leader. "I am Minte; the magic goddess." "goddess? pft. She is our age!" Rajin scoffed. A sudden jet of pure magic flew above her head, perfectly skimming her head. "Looks can be deceiving." Minte said firmly, pulling her staff back to her side. "As I was saying; I am the Magic Goddess. I lead a band of mages and Magesses, trained in a special technique I happen to teach myself, an excerise to highten their magic." She pointed to the Dragon Lady. "This is Wyvernai. She is the commander of all the Dragons in the kingdom. Be careful, she has a nasty temper. She only agreed to go on our side because we promised her a lordess spot. She has nasty dark magic that will put you in your place." "Thanks for the warning." Muttered Aleiati. Wyvernai shot a furious look at Aleiati, and she felt her skin burn away. Minte pointed to the Armoured lady. "This is Quinn. She is our very special Battle queen. She leads a band of soldiers that nearly never fail. She is a very serious warrior, and she trusts that you will all listen." Quinn looked at all of them. "it will take a lot of shaping to get these kiddos to be warriors. But I think I can manage it." She commented. "Finnally, Ocarina." Minte pointed at the gentlest lady of the bunch. "She is a great Archess. Mess with her, and her arrows will find a good point to pierce you." Minte took a deep breath. "Are you ready to commence training?" "training?!" Said all the girls, bewildered. "You didnt think you were chosen to eat grapes all day and sleep did you?" Wyvernai challenged. "Well n-" "good." Wyvernai snapped. "Then officially, your training has begun." **Author's note: hey everyone! tis me, Kendra! Wow that took a long time for the second chapter. "one more comment and Ill stick this magic up your b-" "AS I WAS SAYING...." Minte shouted, overlapping Wyvernais snarl, "Aslaya and Aleiati, I want you to go with Ocarina. Serene and Rajin, go with Quinn. They will teach you how to use combat weapons, but for Serene and Rajin, I want you to learn how to fight with proper gear, while Aslaya and Aleiati, you will be needed for long-range items and all of you will be tutored by me and Wyvernai to learn how to use your magic." Serene nodded quietly then got up and stood beside Quinn, while Rajin grumbled loud enough for everyone to hear. As the four girls were split up, Aslaya suddenly said: "Why are we needed? arnt you all strong enough to fight for our Kingdom like it has been for over 20 years?" Quinn narrowed her eyes. "Thats a complecated question Awhatisit?" "Aslaya." She replied. "but why? Surely if we know why we are fighting we can focus better?" "She has a point." Rajin agreed grudgingly. Minte silenced Quinn with a look as Quinn began to talk again. "This matter is not to be discussed lightly. When the time is right, ill explain it all then. But now is not the time. For now, go with your mentors, and train hard. Sooner or Later you will know your destiny." ((To be Continuedddd))
Aleiati
**For the rest of this chapter, ill be switching view to view like in the first chapter, it may be confusing, so reread if nessasary. (Gawd my spelling sucks today)** Quinn led the two girls to what looked like a deserted field that was nothing but smooth ground with lots of fire glowing around them. "Now, Minte assigned me these weapons for you." Quinn said as she picked out a large mace with flaming tips and a large sword with long green vines flowing out of the handle. Serene gasped as Quinn royaly handed the sword to her and Rajin grunted as the mace was handed to her. "Now, lets begin your training." Quinn said, with a beggining of a smile. Ocarina led the other two girls down into a brightly lit corridor with a large target at the end of the hall. "Do you have an idea of what your doing today?" Aslaya narrowed her eyes. "Im guessing we have to hit the targets?" "Yes good job." Ocarina praised her. "But its soooo far away!" Aleiati complained. "No... not really." Ocarina said. "Watch." She pulled out a silver arrow and stretched it into her blue and gold bow. She aimed, and fired with a sudden fieriosity that shocked the two girls. as the arrow streamed as fast a bullet, Aleiati could see a faint white glow surrounding the silver arrow. Suddenly a large pang surprised everyone. "What was that?" Aslaya said, shocked. "look." Ocarina said, pointing idly at the target. both girls looked, and the arrow was in dead center, and was streaming like fire was coming out the other end. "Wow! I want to learn how to do that!" Aslaya said rather excitedly. "Soon. but first, your weapons." Ocarina handed a smaller yet thick bow to her sister, along with small wooden arrows. "Why do I get mini ones?" Aleiati asked, dissapointed. "Your water magic will rust any silver." Ocarina replied. "I wont use an-" "Sh." Ocarina silenced her. "you never know." She handed a small pouch to Aslaya. "Here, inside are small daggers. " ** OUCH FINGER CRAMP-ISH** I will finish this chapter later (maybe today or tommorrow).
