Ever since the CG scare a while back, I've been changing my password immediately after going to a shop with strangely low prices. But for some reason, the password change doesn't seem to hold, so if I try to log in with the password I think is correct, it turns out that it was my old password.

Chatoi was recently turned invisible by random event, and I hoped logging out and logging back in would un-invisible her, but I couldn't log in because of the stupid password non-change. And apparently I've tried too many times in the last hour (twice) so I can't even attempt to log back in to get Lili into another training course so she'll actually have a decent shot at going somewhere in the BD element. And I should probably use this opportunity to paint Chatoi, but to be quite honest I really liked her blue, which is why I left her like that, and don't WANT to paint her another color, but I can only find Blue Paint Brushes on the TP and none of them have a price listed, so I don't know what to offer for them. So now I'm stuck with an invisible pet and a password that is unsure of itself.

Grr. *sigh*

Ewwie, sorry that all happened to you. I sadly just had to use my blue free starter paint brush so I don't have any to give you but I just forgot my password too and I just asked for it to be sent to me and they sent it in 2 seconds.

That is really weird. Maybe its just a crazy glitch since the site it so slow but I can't imagine why it wouldn't let you use it. Maybe try again tomorow with that paintbrush. It should work :eh:

If I can even get on... <_<

*sigh* Thanks, Wemb.

EDIT: It finally let me back on. And it let me paint Chatoi. ^_^

If this happens again, I'm saving for Electric Blue.

That's certainly a very weird problem you're having... *entering debug mode*

Have you inspected the database logs on the server associated with- Wait, never mind, I'd need to be talking to TNT's sysadmins. xD

I should mention though: if you were hypothetically hit by a cookie grabber, it wouldn't actually be necessary to change your password. Simply logging out and logging back in again should cycle your session string and render the stolen cookie useless. This should be true, unless of course TNT isn't randomising their session cookies, in which case their programmers would have to be even less competent than I am, which I find difficult to believe.

Anyway, I'm glad to hear the situation's resolved for now. :)

Well sometimes it might not be a CG it might just be a bug. The phrase CG is being overused a lot and for the wrong purpose

This is definitely a bug, not a cookie grabber, and if you read the original post, you'll see that Livvy understands that. ;)
