Do the Codes Expire?

So, a while ago while moving, I smuggled a card that came with a neopet game that I got a couple years back. So, I tried Grundo Warehouse and the TCG redeeming area and neither worked. I double, triple, then quadruple checked the code. I used case sensitives. I also have a Green Wocky McDonalds(I believe it is McDonalds) toy with a code on it and was wondering whether it was redeemable or nay.

I always thought you could redeem them even if you were a little late, so maybe you had already redeemed the card code? Or someone else did?

No, I never redeemed them and every code is supposed to be unique...
