ecoster
Everytime I insert a disk into my laptop (i think its a DELL Windows 7), the disk wouldnt load. I've been trying to install Sims 2 and other computer games, but i could never get anything to pop up. :eh: The laptop used to accept cds when i first got it, which was about 3 months ago, but now it just didnt. Any idea whats wrong? :sad02: and i also just want to add that i dont know that much bout computers :S Thanks. ^_^
Wembly
Is the computer actually not recognizing the disks, or is the pop thing just not working? If you click on my computer, then the drive where the CD is, you might be able to open the cd that way if the pop up thing just decided not to work. Sorry if this is a dumb suggestions that you've probably already tried.

Unstream
I'd send it in (or bring it to a computer repair place). It's likely that it could be a hardware problem.
Masaryk
I had a similar problem with my computer, and tech support told me to update my drivers for the disk drive. I never bothered trying, so I don't know if it will work.
Guest Yoshinho
Try updating your drivers. That worked for me when my CD drive wouldn't open or read any disks. If the update makes things worse. Roll Back the driver.
