My name's Melanie and I'm 18 I've played neopets since I was 7 or 8 but stopped playing because "It's a kids website" Now that I'm 18 I don't want to grow up. haha (:

Neo wasn't always a kid's site. It used to be a website just for high school and college students, like Facebook (before everyone else came in). Then Neo got a giant wave of kids coming. That's when the site started changing. And it's STILL got areas for teens and adults, which is why I'm still there.
