grass_tiger Posted December 24, 2006 Share Posted December 24, 2006 I've heard that sometimes you have to wait for a year for certain stocks to go real high and then some still don't. That's why I try to sell some at low points, like 30, because I found that many go up to 30 or 40 then come back down to the sell range and I could have sold and rebought. It is a risk, but at least we rarely lose our initial investment. I like to have lots of money invested in there just in case and then I don't consider that money part of my "wealth". That way it isn't tempting to sell too low. ...those were just a couple other thoughts I had. I yes, I never by more than 5 lots (5000) of one stock unless nothing else is at 15 np that day.
