Part 13, Wheels and Levers. Quick

Hi! im on part 13 on the altador plot, at the water plant, where i have to do the combinations of wheels and levers. ive been following the guide on TDN, but, I thought that the wheels had to be turned (Diagonal, X shape) to be on. but for the wheels to be on, They have to be facing up (like a + sign)ive followed the help guide, just mistaked the wheel's on and off positions. Is that OK? :mellow: :S :P

Shouldn't make a difference. If you are trying to go through every possible combination, as long as you are consistent with yourself you will eventually have the same outcome. Personally I just went for the shear dumb luck method and clicked random things until it worked :whistle:

Oddly enough, the dumb luck method is often quicker than the try-every-combination method. :P

ugh... I tried every single combination possible.. and nothing! the luck one will take forever. =P

The luck one, is much faster. It took me maybe 10-15 minutes. And I wasn't doing it uninterrupted. I'd try it. I've seen lots of people say they've gotten it in under 5 minutes.

No, I don't think the luck one will take forever.

 

A lot of people said they got it within minutes, and in my case, I spent 20 mins on it first, stopped, tried it for another 20 mins, stopped, then did it again and got it within 10 seconds :laughingsmiley:
