no_highway_option
I used a premade lookup from the Graphic Bin as a template and made my own background and just put the url in the code where the original was, but instead of working, the background image shrinks by about 50% and is tiled. Does anyone know why this is? Same thing goes with the box where the shield and icons like "neomail" "neofriend" etc go. This is the original background image: http://www.thegraphicbin.com/neouserlookups/misc/simpsons/simpsons.jpg This is the one I made in Photoshop right on top of it so it would be the same size: http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b293/ektomberlin/lookupbackground.jpg See how it is so much smaller than the Simpsons one? I'm no good with coding but I really don't understand why this isn't working! :( :sad01_anim:
Princess_Megan
It has nothing to do with anything you did wrong! Photobucket automatically shrinks anything that is large. It says it can handle something that is over 1000px but it never does. If I have anything larger than 800px wide or long I use a different image host. I use ImageShack the most. It's free, you don't HAVE to register, and it doesn't shrink the images! :D
Noog
I agree that it's probably just a photoshop problem. I would be careful though. This may be considered as stealing coding. Make sure that whomever made the premades had no stealing policy because they can find out. EDIT: Here is a quote from their FAQs. Can I use your coding if I credit you?Yes, I do allow this, but I ask that you email me your intentions and your username so that I can view the finished product. There MUST be a coding credit to thegraphicbin.com that is clear and easy to see on somewhere your page. PLEASE NOTE! You may NOT use my coding for making premades! If you want to use my code for making layouts for others, then perhaps try applying for a staff position ;)
