Testing, testing, 1 2 3... Ok, we're on!

Welcome back to The Daily Neopets! It is now June the 26th, I hope you Neopians out there are continuing to support your team and participate in all fields to the best of your ability! We will now go to Alberto, our coverage reporter for today.

Hey there, readers! I'm Alberto reporting today's Altador Cup results. I apologize for the brevity of the report today, I can barely hear anything here in Faerie City where mayhem has been taken to the streets, as the Faeries celebrate their 6th Yooyuball win, managing to keep themselves out of the bottom tier for yet another day. Though they also lost Slushie Slinger and Make Some Noise, Team Faerieland managed to draw with Team Altador in Shootout Showdown.

In the other results of today, Team Meridell managed to win only Yooyuball against Team Krawk Island. I managed a word with a group of disheartened armor-clad Knights, who described the match as "A sign of decline, unfortunately, since we lost all the side games." However, the Knights continue to be the best Yooyuball squad, having lost only 3 matches and drawing 6 more.

Team Brightvale managed a near sweep of the Kikos, if it were not for Team Kiko Lake's last-minute goal that tied the Yooyuball match. This threw the Kikos into the last tier in front of only Moltara.

Team Maraqua managed a surprise sweep over Team Haunted Woods today. The water dwellers outmaneuvered the Zombies on the Yooyuball field in the last 2 minutes of game time and scored 5 goals in a row. Captain Elon "The Black Hole" Hughlis had this to say: "Overestimate? No, Haunted Woods did not overestimate us. Rather, everyone else underestimated us! We had expected a sweep, and finally there is the one we were waiting for! First tier, here we come! "

The power of the Darigan Citadel and their unique "Spin and Shoot" technique beat Team Virtupets in the Yooyuball field, as well as in the face offs in Slushie Slinger and Make Some Noise. However, the Robots managed to grasp a Shootout Showdown win against the Minions. The Minions managed to get into first place with the win, nice job on snatching that place!

Team Terror Mountain, after losing their Shootout Showdown streak yesterday to Kiko Lake, dusted themselves off and achieved the same result against Team Lost Desert, with a loss in everything but Shootout Showdown against the Marauders.

Yet another match ended similarly as the previous two, with this match being between Shenkuu and Mystery Island. The Ninjas managed a win in all games except Shootout Showdown, where the Natives rallied and pulled a draw.

Team Moltara also flexed their muscles of winning random side games today, as they beat Tyrannia in Make Some Noise. You could hear the magma roaring! However, Team Tyrannia fired back and won all the other games, which definitely decreased Team Moltara’s decibels.

Last, but most certainly not least, was the match between Roo Island and Kreludor. RI recently entered the top tier, and has been hungry to achieve more and more wins. The Rooligans won Yooyuball and Shootout Showdown, but lost Slushie Slinger and Make Some Noise to Team Kreludor.

Matchups for today to watch include: Krawk Island vs. Kreludor, and Meridell vs. Darigan Citadel. Both matches are guaranteed to be very exciting, and have already been sold out. Don't forget to come back for tomorrow's Altador Cup report, right here at The Daily Neopets, your #1 Source for all Altador Cup info! This is Alberto, signing off!

Great report Native! And our sweep was so unexpected, I was shaking with joy!

You can repeat word, "unexpected", at least 30 times before it settles in.We had a thirteen game SS win streak, and now its gone. We'll have our revenge on Tyrannaia, I hope. Our chances for the second tier are nearly shattered now.

And we have now destroyed all the teams that beat us in the first round. ;)

Yeah! Congrats RI! We played very hard and finally manage to win YYB and SOSD(of course). We'll sweep Moltara and climb to the third place, overcoming LD. And, we'll make sure that we hold the spot so that we could fight for the cup! DC, we'll meet ya at the finals! But before that, we'll have to face off againts DC after Moltara(maybe).

too bad we didn't sweep

I'm looking forward to a strong SK next year, the reason for our decline is those stupid freeloaders <_<
