Spritzie Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 I'm having a really strange problem. When I signed on at work this morning, all websites were working fine. Then out of nowhere, as I try to go to the Snowager, Neopets isn't loading. I restarted my browser. (I'm using Google Chrome. And I'm on Vista, if that matters.) But Neopets isn't the only site not working. Some are, some aren't. Working sites: TDN TDN Forums Sunnyneo Local Library Work group site Non-working sites: Neopets Hotmail Jellyneo MSN Work time card site I don't get any errors. The page just never loads. It says it's waiting on the website, but nothing ever happens. This is what I've tried: Restarting Chrome (multiple times) Trying the sites on IE (didn't work on IE either) Restarting my computer Clearing my cache, cookies, etc. I'm out of ideas. Does anyone have any? EDIT: I found the solution. All I had to do was make a post asking for help, and it magically starts working, after an hour of not working. :laughingsmiley: Quote

That always happens to me when I take the car to the mechanic. Maybe try Firefox? You Chrome users are always having problems! :) Quote

I use it at work because IE and Firefox lag out the computer, because my work requires too many programs. Quote
Guest Yoshinho Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 I am a Firefox user and 3.6.4 came out like 2 days ago with that new plugin crash but firefox continues feature. How plugins load separately. Chrome may seem fast on the outside but takes up over 200MB of space. As for firefox, it is faster than IE and I think Safari so it is in the middle and it only takes up 20MB +20MB more per user = 40MB with it installed with 1 user using it. Try Firefox and if you like it, you can keep it. www.mozilla.com Quote
antiaircraft Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 For the record, this issue seems to reflect a problem with your workplace's networking (proxies, routers, etc.) rather than a browser issue. The solution especially. xD Quote
