Co's back with another day of Altador Cup results! Today there were two major upsets, the match between the Mermaids and the Roos, and the match between the Pirates and the Marauders. Both of the underdogs took Yooyuball, leaving the Mermaids and Marauders with Slushie Slinger and Make Some Noise. Unlike Maraqua, the Desert was still able to pull a draw in Shootout Showdown. With Lost Desert fizzling out the past week or so, can they pick back up? Another thing, Maraqua seems to do amazingly against top teams, could this make them the new Mystery Island? Only time will tell. Another match today was the Suns and the Fossils, an exact repeat of the end of the First Round. Unsurprisingly, it had the same results. Tyrannia once again swept Altador, leaving them in the dust. In the words of a Tyrannia supporter, "Ugga, ugga ugga. Ugga ugga ugga. UGGA!" which translates into, "I honestly think these last two matches could help our team out, we could really start to pick up now." Kreludor is another team that is starting to lose steam. After today's match against the Chillers, they still prevailed in Yooyuball and Slushie Slinger, but unlike last time where they had a win, they drew in Make Some Noise. The Chillers still won Shootout Showdown, keeping their perfect record, staying this year's Virtupets in the game. An interesting match today was the Ninjas and the Robots. As the Robots continue the "Spiral of Doom" and the Ninjas begin to "Pull a Shenkuu" which means the results were much different then expected. The Ninjas actually won in three games, Yooyuball, Slushie Slinger, and Make Some Noise! Sadly, for the Robots, they only won Shootout Showdown. Were these results the fall of Virtupets, or the rise of Shenkuu? We may never know. Another two matches with similar results were the Faeries against the Islanders, and the Minions against the Kikos. Both the Kikos and the Faeries pulled off a draw in Slushie Slinger, letting Darigan and Mystery Island take Yooyuball and Make Some Noise. Mystery Island was not as lucky as Darigan, the Faeries and Minions were the teams who won Shootout Showdown, meaning that overall, the Faeries did better today then the Kikos. A predictable match with the same outcome as last time was the Wizards and the Knights. The Knights once again took Yooyuball, Make Some Noise, and Shootout Showdown, while the Wizards continued to show the icy power and won Slushie Slinger. The last match of the day was the Zombies and the Magmas. The Zombies almost swept by winning Yooyuball, Slushie Slinger and Shootout Showdown, but the Magmas held out, drawing Make Some Noise. Well, it appears that's it for today! Be sure to check back in tomorrow for more matches! This is Co, signing out.
Person335
Dang it. Our plan to burn down the woods didn't work out. ...Wait, what was that?! I didn't say anything... LOL, jk. We'd never do that. Great game HW! P.S. First we were "Magmas", and now we're..."Rocks". I think 'Magmas' is a more suitable name for us.

Moltara is currently a prime example of Faerieland in year one. They lose one game that they should win, and they just don't come back. I still think Moltara has the capability to get out of the bottom 2,but they should'nt place any higher than 15th after DRR.
Spritzie
I guess I really need to start playing harder to help out Maraqua. My little weekend vacation is over, and it's time to focus.
Mireia
We've had a very bad round 1, but it looks we managed to improve... Today match against TM, Elbin vs. Evrem, the definitive match. If we really improved our yyb skills we should be able to win them, I hope!
Anisha
Oh no. Maraqua came down to the 6th position. :sad01_anim: But we still have hope. Go Maraqua!

Also, there was too much "this years *insert team name*" or "the new *insert team name*" In the words of a Tyrannia supporter, "Ugga, ugga ugga. Ugga ugga ugga. UGGA!" which translates into, "I honestly think these last two matches could help our team out, we could really start to pick up now." j_l_e_s_t
We need more variety in users. Ev1 is either Lost Desert, Shenkuu, Darigan Citadel, and even more heavily Maraqua. We need more teams like HW,KL,KI,RI,KD,or any other team.

voteforpedro333
<_< Ah well. I won't believe we're losing steam, not at this point in the game. Leave the past in the past and watch the target today. Shenkuu, you better put yer best foot forward or you're gonna trip hard.
