What level do you have to be for your pet not to get zapped to level 1?

Is there even such level? I heard lvl 10, and 20. I wish I could edit to "What level does your pet have to be for it not to get zapped to level 1?" I hope someone could answer me this. I want to level up my pets, but I also want to zap them.

There is no such level, you can get any zap at any time, zapping a battle pet is highly risky.

This is why I don't zap pets. God knows what'll happen to them. And you can be level 250 and still get zapped all the way down to level 1.

 

Zapping you're pets can make you're hard work go to waste.
