Disclaimer: This news report was written to inform you all of the latest Altador Cup results in as entertaining a manner as possible. The rest of its content is largely fictional, composed from various fan comments and the whims of our imagination in an attempt to inspire a sense of realism through our reporting. While we do our best to keep things reasonably neutral, this report is in no way intended to be a completely bias-free listing of the day's results, nor does it claim to provide critical analysis of past and potential outcomes from qualified Altador Cup experts. Please note that the opinions formulated in this report are from a full team of different reporters, and in no way represent the views of only a single faction. If you're looking for 100% unbiased performance data, take a look at our standings page. If professional analysis tickles your fancy, you want our predictions pages (global/daily).

Repairs are gradually progressing on the receiver, and whilst that isn't fixed, we try to estabilish a satellite connection to our reporter HBK, who has taken time out of his busy Yooyuballing schedule to give us the daily news.

SCORE, 14-0! Finally that acheievement accomplished. Great job, Vonde! Oh wait...hello TDN fellow readers! I'm standing here in Lost Desert where a modest celebration is assembling to commemorate the Marauders astouding victory over the Moons yesterday. This was sought out to be the match of the year, and when we got a preview of what could very well be the final match, LD placed on top. The Moons will be disappointed, but pleasant they were able to take Shootout Showdown. Meanwhile, the Deserters are now with an unbeatable 9-0-0 streak.

Visitors should not try and attempt to book reservations to the Citadel, as the Minions are extremely unbearable today with Lord Kass instructing a full blown attack against prehistoric Tyrannia, after their defeat by what they considered to be a worthy, yet passable opponent. Virtupets surprised us once again by managing to take Yooyuball and win the overall match, even if they had to sacrifice some side games.

The Zombies are ever so grateful they faced Kiko Lake yesterday, as they managed to finally get a win in Yooyuball and move out of the 17th place. "Brains" Mortigan, the newcomer, had this to say: "When we knew we were nearly dead last, something had to be done. Even though I am new here, I cannot allow such blasphemy to continue. We were the first Cup winners, and we deserve respect!" Okay...moving on, thanks.

Elsewhere, fate saw the Natives hand another cold near-sweep to the Moltarans, as their heat starts to slowly dissipate. What many called hot-shots are now nearly reduced to ashes...or should I say sand, as they are facing the top team today, Lost Desert.

The Pirates were also able to steal some booty from Brightvale's castle. After King Skarl nearly caught them in the act, they decided to take their skills elsewhere. King Hagan wasn't impressed when he saw one of his thousand "Brightvale: A History" books go missing. Still, they were able to distract Krawk Island into conceding Slushie Slinger.

The blazing heat of the Suns still wasn't enough to melt an avalanche of power coming from the ol' Terror Mountain. However, their slushies, being in a compact form, were able to be easily melted for a Slushie Slinger victory.

The Ninjas are king of draws as another game yields three of them. Despite this, they ended up the happy party as SS was taken. For this reason, they dropped back to 11th place, much to the frustration of Shenkuu's supporters.

The Fossils were overtaken in Yooyuball as a crashing wave came their way and nearly destroyed the entire Plateau. To seize revenge, they conjured excellent wins in all side games, making this a very close result. In other news, Faerieland only were able to draw Slushie Slinger, leaving the rest for Roo Island.

While today might not be as exciting or eventful as yesterday's clashes, we must emphasize the Ninjas duel with the Moons, which is a rematch of the semi-finals of Altador Cup IV (which SK won). There is also the Minions fight with Tyrannia, Meridell's match with the Robots, and the Pirates taking of Mystery Island...or not.

Well, that sums it up nicely. We apologize for the late report, but transmissions here are really terrible and our pyramids aren't that equipped with high-tech stuff (plus, Moltara are trying to damage our walls as I speak). I'll see you on the playing field.

Good luck to all teams!

Hmmm, I thought we faced them o_O

Nice report as always, guys! A little more detail to know exactly who won what would have been nice.

Blue, I meant today DC are facing Tyrannia, after "their defeat by what they considered to be a worthy, yet passable opponent" - which was VP, not TY.

Yes, another victory to us!!! Woohoo!!! Well, as I predicted, FL will try to stand a chance againts us in Slushie Slinger, so I played and try to beat my old score, and of course I managed to increase my score. And finally we had a draw( phew... luckyly no lose for Slushie Slinger). Next, altador, here I come!!! And congrats to LD for a nearly clean sweep!

King of draws.. I wanted to laugh but I can't since it is my own team this year (plus, you never know who is listening to you *looks around*)

I'm suprised about the VP match. Only at the Minions board we had 85k i YYB, more hen when we faced KI, and we have 4 other scoring boards, I mean I know they have size advantage and no one knows their scores, but still...

The LD vs KD results were interestig enough though, now I guess we have to wait for VP to face LD to see if anyone can handle their YYB skills...

Oh yay. I get to go against my old team! This should be fun...

Nice to see the two "Hottest" teams face off! (bring some sunblock SPF +1000 if you're going to observe)

I wonder how they're going to do against one of their old players (me!).

Your gonna be seeing glass shards on the field now!

NO LONGER ASHES, JUST PURE FLAMIN' MAGMA!

THE FLAME WILL NEVER DIE!

P.S. We apologize for any inconvenience on this report. I stand for all when we say "We're Sorry".

We'll send some mechanics to fix the walls immediately.

I knew I thought you were cool for some reason; I didn't know you were on LD! I'll respect your change of team and I say bring on the heat!
