Waff Posted May 17, 2010 Share Posted May 17, 2010 Okay, so right now I am facing with this problem of keying in an invalid mailing address under the premium website to create a premium account so I can start becoming a premium player. What i believe is that because I am a Singaporean and Neopets actually recognises a valid address as a US address, the address format will be different.. So my question is whether direct sign ups are unavailable now and I would need a referral to get a premium as of now or I am doing something wrong in the registration process..? The next bit is where I'm slightly guessing, but I think you should be fine using a non-US address (I've never tried to sign up before so I don't know what the process entails). I'm sure there are plenty of non-US premium members out there, and I doubt they all used a fake address. Besides, neopets can tell what country your in by your IP adress (or something), so they'd know if you said you were in the states and you weren't. Anyway, I'm not sure if its been lost in translation but, mailing address? Why would they need to mail you? And surely it'd be pointless because if they DID need to mail you, then you wouldn't get it, because it'd be fake? EDIT: Some things I've found that might help. Masaryk Posted May 17, 2010 Share Posted May 17, 2010 I just signed up for Premium this weekend, and I didn't have any trouble filling in my address, and I'm not in the US. I don't know how addresses in Singapore differ in format from American addresses, though. However, if you need a referral, I'll be happy to give you one. You still have to enter billing information, and then have to CANCEL before your trial is up or you WILL be billed. If you have any questions at all about the service, ask me, and I'd be happy to answer them! you can neomail me at the neopets account <dasbif>, and i can answer your questions and/or send you a premium referral. it's OK to take a referral and decide you don't want the service, i'm totally okay with that.
