Retired Items

I have been clearing out my SDB and have come across quite a few items that now say (retired) below them. As a general rule to retired items increase in value? Or are there so many of them that they stay the same.

For example one item is a brain tree card, which is worth about 35np on the shop wiz.. is this likely to increase over time because they have been retired? Has anyone else got retired items they are waiting to "appreciate"?

It depends... When the items can go away, like books or paintbrushes or stamps, they might be worth holding on to (I do). However, remember that tarla's toolbar is giving away quite some retired items often, like speckled paint brush. Now it's hardly worth anything at all :P

Depending on the rarity of the item. Hold on to each for a few weeks. If they don't go up in price, give them away but keep the rare items. They will go up eventually.

Good advice... thanks, I will try that. I suppose it is a gamble, you never know when an item may suddenly be needed fr a quest or an avatar.
