Empress Keiko
Okay, you guys took dow turmy alert. Now I want to know, is it ever coming back? it was really helpful when we had it. And if we aren't going to ever use it again, why keep the button up there? It gets all dusty...with cobwebs and all... Thank you! ~Keiko
Meeptroid
I miss it too. I remember when I was one of those alert people.
Mike.
I highly doubt it is coming back. It was abused way too much, those certain people ruined it for the rest of you. But I will keep this topic open until Ian comes back or someone with a final answer comes.
Empress Keiko
:crying: Well that sucks... BAD people who abused it! *slaps with fines for being evil* Maybe Ian will come out of the shadows and tell me the answer to the beautiful Turmy alert! Anime
Isn't that still broken? I though Ian was recoding it for v6....
Empress Keiko
That sounds nice! Maybe people wouldn't be abusing it! YAY! (when is v6 coming out?)
Strategos
Hopefully soon. But it'll only be soon, though, if we FIND Ian.
Ellie_Penguin
well, we find Ian maybe he'll bring a surprise back :D and I do miss the turmy alert, as well!
The Big Cheese
He may put it back, but maybe only a few trusted people would be able to use it... ie everyone with over 100 posts or something.
Matt
I thought it was fine before. That was, from a moderator of the alerts point of view. I like banning people for it! Heheheh...
.Dan.
Yeah, and I remember an idiot kept spamming the Shoutbox warning n00bs about misusuing it. Shameful behaviour that was, coming from a mod.
Mike.
Eh? A mod did that? PM me about, can't break the rules, right? Anyways. I got mad the first few times it was false alarmed. So I hate it. xD

Matt
Same. I don't see why we can't put it back up, though. It was neat. :) Now my Web2messenger is going to be back up soon, you can prod me if no mod is on at that time. But it needs to be up again first. :P
Samuel
I'm now in a position to give an official, staff response to this: No :( Unfortunately, it was subject to a lot of abuse. Despite big red warnings not to do it, people still set it off, causing mayhem. Carnage. Whilst we'll look into other ways of providing the service, we won't be doing it any time soon. We'll look into it in a little more detail upon the release of V6. Thanks :) (Oh, and remember: if Turmy IS awake, then link to it and scream in the shoutbox :))
