Tencals- the food stealer?!

I recently received the petpet Tencals from the Meteor.

Then next day, I received Green Tea from the meteor.

 

Low and behold I check my items and- what? TENCALS HAD EATEN MY GREEN TEA! The Thief! Has this happened to anyone else?

This has happened to me, but not with a Tencals. I got a Mibblie from the meteor. And I immediately went to my inventory, and it had eaten my Scarab Cookie. I thought it was quite amusing. I think that might be something that petpets can do. I got an avatar from a Drackonack eating cheese from my inventory.

Okay, phew, I was scared that the little thing was some sort of virus monster trying to eat all my food.

I may just move him to my neopet to be safe...
