Cassie
Okay so I am trying to get the Kelp Restaurant avatar, but every time I go to Kelp, I can't buy anything. I go to the menu, pick an item I want to buy, then go to eat. the waitress says I need to select something from the menu to eat first. But I already have! My friend and I are both getting this problem. we have the np to buy the food, so what is going on?
Batman
To order something you need to open it in a new tab. Or else you will get that problem all day long.
Tyler.
It doesn't work for me even when I do that.
manic_hibee
I've got the same problem been trying for months so I can get the avatar. I've even sent a bug report but nothing has ever been done. :sad01_anim:
dragonlady
probably has something to do with javascript...make sure you have the latest version, and that it's enabled. Right click on the option, then click open in new window. Just tried it, working for me
comawhite
You may need to right-click then select "Open in New Window" or "Open in New Tab" on which ever items you want to buy from the restaurant.I had the exact same problem and that worked for me.Although I didn't get the avatar.Keep in mind that avatar is completely random,I've done it twice, fed my pets until they were bloated and refusing food (before I took them)and I still didn't get it.Kudos to those who have gotten it on their first try :)
antiaircraft
probably has something to do with javascript...make sure you have the latest version, and that it's enabled. Just for the record, Java and JavaScript are completely different things. JavaScript is the programming language in question here (it needs to be enabled), but making sure you have the latest version really doesn't apply, since JavaScript parsers and compilers are integral parts of all modern web browsers. If anything, it's your web browser version you should be concerned with. *end parenthetical geek explanation* :P
