Step 139 (Part 14 - The Hunter)

Step 129 - Part 14 - The Hunter, says:

129. Go back and see the Janitor and visit the Basement. Click on one of the top gears, to jam them with the Rock. Leave, go back, and get the Rock back by clicking on the Gear. You'll need it again.

 

How do I EXACTLY do this? I click on one of the top gears (the first 3 gears that appear on the horizontal line?), how do I "leave and go back"? Do I have to click the "Retrocede" button on my window? How do I ever get the rock back?

That explanation is a bit confusing, I'd appreaciate any help.

 

I'd help back somehow, but I'm still a newbie :D

P.S.: Made a little change. The step is 129, not 139 as I stated before. Sorry -.-'

 

EDIT: I already managed to get past it. Thanks anyway guys, I just realized they have a guide on the gears (though I passed without barely look at it 0o)
