Crytpograms

Well, the aim here is to post messages using a cryptogram:

For those who dont know a cryptogram is a message written with a code: I.e where A = c and b =a and c =t CAT would be ABC. The aim of this game is to create a code however you wish, the easiest way is write down the alphabet, and then randomly put numbers 1-26 in front of a number and then take those numbers and use them to correspond to the new alphabet i.e if you put 12 in front of A then a would be L in the code. An easy way to make sure you dont make the number the same as the letter is to put the alphabet with correct numbers next to it and the other one with the random numbers so you can cross Reference.

 

Solving a cryptogram:

Look for words like A, an, and, the, Or, IT, that sort of thing, and then work from that way outward. Notice repeated letters and try to find them elsewhere and think what would make sense with what you see.
