I have been working on this for almost 5 hours and it's bugging the life out of me.

 

I have the EXACT amount of Neopoints I need.

I keep refreshing the shop.

I have switched back and forth among shops several times.

 

And I have yet to see a single item with a scale!

It is annoying me because I would really like to finish this plot, but I can't!

Help me!!!!

You have to find one of the three items. Check allthe stores with the exact amount of np you need :) I got the brown purse, you don't specifically need the scales.

That part took me about 2 minutes, and I didn't really have any problems with it.

I think you just need to check all the three shops and make sure you know what the items look like.

It's a little confusing but you can do it just make sure you have the right NP

I was stuck on this FOREVER!!! After reading a bunch of posts, here's what worked:

 

You have to check each store in turn, individually, with the right amount of NP already in hand. So go into one store, see what the inflation rate is, then go to the bank, get the right NP, then go back to the store. If one of those scale items isn't there, do the same for the other two stores until you find something. This should work (and I suggest doing it all in one window just to protect you from a computer freak out from having multiple windows open).

 

I was under the impression that it was a regular item for sale that would come up when the store refreshed. But it only comes up if you enter the store with the right amount of NP, and it only comes up in one of the stores (it's different which one for everyone).
