The Birthday Party

One day, a letter came to a certain house deep in the Haunted Woods. It was addressed to Una Koi, from Grecia Kacheek, and it was an invitation to a birthday party the next afternoon at Grecia's home in Kiko Lake. Una knew Grecia very well, and she despatched a prompt reply, accepting the invitation.

 

Una decided to go out and buy Grecia a birthday present. Grecia's only sibling was Trucy Usul, and Una liked Trucy every bit as much as she liked Grecia. Una ended up buying a small gift for Trucy, as well as a gift for Grecia. For Trucy, a dark red lipstick and blue mirror. For Grecia, a red Cybunny plushie, a yoyo, and a black lipstick. Grecia had stranger tastes in cosmetics, but they were ideal for her, anyway.

 

The next day, Una arrived at the lively house in Kiko Lake, and met several other party guests who had been invited. Teacee Ruki was a cousin of Grecia and Trucy, and then there was Pogo JubJub, Marla Cybunny, and Francesca Gelert. They all played hide and seek, and then each tried to hit a pinata til it split open. Pogo finally broke it, and everyone scrambled to snatch up some candy.

 

After playing party games, it was finally time for cake and milk. Everyone sat at the long table and chatted as they munched on delicious yellow cake with pink icing. Teacee described his Neohome in the Lost Desert, and Pogo kept everyone in good spirits with his sence of humour. Finally, it was time for Grecia to open her gifts.

 

Several little packages were on a table, wrapped in coloured paper and bound with pretty ribbons. Teacee gave her two glazed pots for holding flowers and some cherry lozenges. Francesca gave her two books and a blue Nimmo plushie. Pogo gave her a JubJub bucket and spade and a beach ball. Marla chose black nail varnish and a bottle of bubble bath. Grecia had gotten alot of awesome gifts.

 

Trucy admired the little gift that Una had given her, then she produced a wrapped gift for her sister. It was an Anubis fountain. A second, smaller package contained a pretty blue bow to wear on nice occasions. Grecia gave her sister a hug, and said that it had been quite a party.

 

Una took a small slice of leftover cake home to enjoy later, and she sighed as she slipped into a warm bubble bath. It had been a nice party, yes indeed, and it had been a very enjoyable day, as well.
