I have my spell book coordinates but I don't understand the URL part can anyone explain a little for me? Thank you

Okay, here goes. :)

 

Every Neopian has their own unique archives URL, but that URL does follow a particular pattern. Within that pattern are two parts which define which room of the archives you'll end up in (the URL on the walkthrough is an example).

 

So, in order to get your own unique spellbook URL, you'll need to follow the steps below:

 

1) Proceed to the Altadorian Archives.

2) Click on the handle of the left door to enter the archives proper.

3) Click on either the top door or the door on the right to proceed one room deeper into the archives.

4) The URL in your web browser's location bar should now resemble the example in the walkthrough. This is your unique URL.

 

You will then need to substitute your spellbook coordinates into this URL. The key parts are the bits that say 'arcx=$SOME_X_NUMBER' and 'arcy=$SOME_Y_NUMBER'. You need to replace $SOME_X_NUMBER and $SOME_Y_NUMBER with your x and y spellbook coordinates respectively.

 

So if, for example, your coordinates were 3,9 and your URL was

http://www.neopets.com/altador/archives.phtml?goarch=aecd4cb1e853c0226181fdc4703f03cb&arcx=0&arcy=1&cmhv=6d22d79a8555fff35917f59dc495b886

 

Then after the substitutions, it would be

http://www.neopets.com/altador/archives.phtml?goarch=aecd4cb1e853c0226181fdc4703f03cb&arcx=3&arcy=9&cmhv=6d22d79a8555fff35917f59dc495b886

 

Once that's done, just follow the URL. You should now be in the same room as the spellbook.
