Any way to remove the "ASK" search bar from the Neopets Toolbar?

I want to download the Neopets Toolbar. However, my fiance downloaded it before me and I hate how that ASK search bar is sitting in it. It makes the toolbar look thicker, and I really don't need that search bar since I already have my Google search bar incorporated into Firefox.

Is there any way to remove it, or not have it featured at all?

I basically want my toolbar to look exactly like it does on the screenshot they have on the Toolbar site itself.

If you are using Firefox you can go to Tools, Addons and search for the neopets toolbar and only add the buttons you want. I have only Alert and Daily. So I only get the Tarla alert, and Snowager/Von Roo. It adds them to your bookmarks toolbar so it doesn't take an extra row

I think you two are talking about different toolbars altogether. :P There's the official (rarely updated) Neopets Toolbar* from TNT, and there's an unofficial Neopets Toolbar extension*.

A solution seems to have already been provided for the unofficial toolbar - for the official one, try right-clicking on Firefox's menu bar and toggling the checkboxes. If that doesn't work, try messing around with the customise utility. :)

* Remember, always check links before following them!

I know there was some problem with it not working on the Firefox that just came out last month. But on mine I go to Tools > Addons > Get Addons > Search Neopets > See All 3 Results > Go to the new page it opens >Neopets Toolbar Add on By SwordFire

Mine is still not working. It's incompatible with the newest firefox.

Yeah... I was wondering what she was talking about, because I couldn't customize the "official" one at all. I also don't feel comfortable downloading an extension. So I just uninstalled it altogether. Unfortunately, toggling the options didn't do much either. I think its broken. :T

Oh well!
