How the chain works

I'm very new for the "transfering" business for avatars and I'm going to try myself with my future fire blumaroo on my side account.

 

So if I transfer from my main one of my neopets since I have four on there with my side that also contains four, with me picking the blumaroo, I have to wait one month before I can transfer again right?

 

But if I have three pets on my main and I'm in a chain for let's say...a draik? how long do I keep it with me until the next person in the chain can get it next?

What you can do is do a pound trade with yourself use internet explorer with one account and Fire fox with another, that allows you to keep both trades of the month open.

 

Now for normal trading when you're in a chain you have to wait 1 day I believe before you can transfer him on to the next person.

 

With the pound if you create a pet you have to wait 7 days to pound him, but if you're lent a pet theres no time limit, you can adopt him and then pound him right back (of course you can only pound 1 pet a day) ..

Yeah..I'm scared of the pound a bit...especially with lurkers around that might find my pets and don't give either back....that's why I'm trying to go safe since time isn't really a factor for me unless I'm in a chain :headphone:

 

But as long as I have one room open for a chain, I can give it to the next person in a day correct ^__^

yes correct... as for lurkers, the ones ive met so far (only 2) have been kind enough to return the pet with proof... but im really good with the pound, and that had special circumstances... it happened to a friend of mine, but we managed to get his snow pet back~ :)
