I am absolutely and postively sure that the Chia and Nimmo Totems, retired as they may had been, were well below the unbuyable range three months ago when i bought them in my first account. Now as i try to look for them again, thy have suddenly rocketed into the unbuyable range of a million or so.

 

As it is i am quite intrigued by how this, frustrating as it is, works. I was under the impression that mass buyings of items for sole monopolization was rather impossible. Still, i suppose considering the item's retired status, it is entirely plausible someone bought up every single piece and is currently selling it. Something like this happened to another item, the Tiki Amulet just recently, which to my last knowledge...was not retired. The monopoliser is going to have to buy every singel new piece off the market if he is to maintain his market position, which seems unlikely...

 

Maybe there is another force at work?

Monopolizing is entirely possible. I find it hard to believe that somebody can actually buy all of a certain item, although I know some peeps come pretty close. o_O It's crazy-- I have to try it. xD

So you can totally buy up all the items yourself... but its against the rules to group buy isnt it?

No kidding... it's terrible! Especially if you're a cautious shopper like myself. I like to wait to see it prices will go down, but they usually end up rising. Then, when I buy something because I think the price will go up, it drops. I don't have any luck! xD
