The Original Luna Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 My uncle Steven got married yesterday. He broke the news at 11:30 in the evening, My family were shocked, suprised at the weird way, in which he proposed. My new aunty, Marie is Finnish, I'm not biased against the Finnish they are cool, (in more ways than one) I have three step-cousins now, two girls and a boy, There's Linda, and the others, I haven't been introduced to yet, But they are gonna love it in Portugal. Uncle's looking for houses abroad soon, I'm going to miss the ol' hedgehog. I named him that because his hair stood out like the hair on the moon. Goodbye Uncle Steve- We'll miss you!
Ellie_Penguin Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Wow that sounded like a poem...well congrats to your Uncle! I hope he lives a happy marriage! Wow that sounded like a poem...
Meeptroid Posted October 24, 2006 Posted October 24, 2006 Wow that sounded like a poem...well congrats to your Uncle! I hope he lives a happy marriage! Wow that sounded like a poem... That may of been what she was aiming for.
Lutarist Jake Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Could be...Finnish? What do you mean not biased?
The Original Luna Posted October 25, 2006 Author Posted October 25, 2006 Biased means one-side of view. I like the finnish, . (that could be biased) if i had said, I like the finnish they are better than the british, that is bias!
The Original Luna Posted October 25, 2006 Author Posted October 25, 2006 He's on honeymoon in Portugal. We think he's going to live in finland now because Linda hasn't finished secondary school there. She's in (year 9 over here). When she finishes school, they'll probably move elsewhere.
Y E L L O W S T A R Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 Awwwww! It's good they're happy! Bias= having an opinion about something, which may/may not influence someone else's opinion. Edit: deleted the cream-cheese example part. Edit: So, when does secondary school finish there? *age of ___* we have a different system here, so I'm a bit confused.
Foxy! Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 So, erm, was that a poem, or a nice story about your Uncle? Or both?
