I've had biiiiig hiatus. *Rolls eyes* I considered joining Shenkuu or Maraqua because I like both themes best, but I went for Maraqua in the end. Now I'm pretty sure I'll stick to Maraqua untill the end of my neo days, the team has great spirit and my fellow fishies are all very friendly and love to have a good laugh. So she said I could join LD because Bonnie is from there :). If it weren't for them I'd've joined HW because I'm obsessed with anything of that genre. Aminbel Posted June 26, 2009 Share Posted June 26, 2009 Honestly, after seeing some of the things being said on my teams's group/fan club whatever you call it, I doubt I'll be supporting the same team next year. When someone provides a list of board topics so that you don't have to think about one and therefore waste time that should be spent playing YYB, to me that's overkill. It totally takes the fun out of the game for me. I guess next year I'll support a team who doesn't support mindless hours of YYBing over meeting people and having fun. celticheavens Posted June 26, 2009 Share Posted June 26, 2009 Even though I've been on Neopets since forever, this is actually my first AC participation! =D I was tempted to go with KI since pirates and all but LD was another team I'd always felt an unexplainable form of attraction towards. There was SK as well since it was more Asian culture-ish haha. So decided to go with LD since my vested interest in Egypt precedes that of my temporal obsession with pirates =D I am glad I chose LD ;). Love the spirit! I think initially i was torn between Shenkuu, Maraqua, and Mystery Island because I thought they were the coolest places in Neopia, but I ultimately chose Shenkuu because of my interest in Asian culture... and it didn't hurt that Shenkuu has an awesome Lutari goalie and of course Mirsha, the greatest scorer ever! :P Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I haven't really enjoyed the overall community, though, so I'm most likely going to change teams next year. It'll be between Shenkuu and Lost Desert for me.
