lazycrazykitten Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Okay, so I never look at the teams in advance before I play them (I like to be surprised), and today my team, Kiko Lake, was versing Roo Island. First when I saw the name I was nervous, they are the defending champions from last year, but I figured that the game is only an AI, so it wasn't so bad. Then I saw a grarrl of all things march onto the field. Immediately I assumed that he was the goalkeeper, I mean this guy was huge, us Kiko's have a peophin as our goalie and I thought Erli was big. I mean a grarrl could pretty much just stand there and no goals could get through. I panicked!!! Then we got into our positions only to find that a pteri, of all things is the goalie? The grarrl barely moved while on the field, surely the pteri would have been more active? I mean the grarrl was like a boulder, it would have made getting shots past that guy much more difficult than a tiny pteri! I think whoever designed the Roos team was sabotaging them! I mean, it was good for my team as I didn't have to deal with the grarrl, but still, it seemed a little odd to have a pteri blocking the goal when it could have been a grarrl.

Fardreamer Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 That Grarrl was a total pain in my butt. I always go from top right at the goal, so circling around him when I missed was ANNOYING. The players do make a difference, but its wins not goals that make the difference in the standings.
Aminbel Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 It matters insomuch as it's hard to get by a bigger pet. That graarl is like a boulder! He doesn't move fast but if he gets in your way getting around him eats up precious seconds. Big mean graarl. And anyway, Tyrannia has a graarl goalie and he's as easy to score on as the pteri.

FutureTXTurkey Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Yeah I can't stand that grarrl. I mean the second I read your post I was like, OMG that grarrl is a huge pain in my rear! I also come from the top right side of the field, so I really wasted a lot of time dogging that big dumb animal!
