Fishie Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 I was wondering how the points from each game, YYB, SSD, SS, and MSN, determine how the team does. Like, does the points from each game matter? Can you just get 1 high score for MSN, then get like 10 points every other game just to build up your game plays? Or does having a high score for every game you play count? Also does have a high goal scored count towards the results or does only wins matter?
antiaircraft Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 Well, TNT is a little hush-hush about the algorithm they use to calculate all the results, so quite frankly we don't know. :P It's probably best to get at least a decent score for each game you play though.
m00fin_hearts_chocolate Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 Well, TNT is a little hush-hush about the algorithm they use to calculate all the results, so quite frankly we don't know. TNT doesnt want us to know how they calculate the scores?hmm...maybe they just think up who wins and stick with that?I dont kow.hopefully they dont do THAT.
Lion Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 TNT doesnt want us to know how they calculate the scores?hmm...maybe they just think up who wins and stick with that?I dont kow.hopefully they dont do THAT. I think that it matters how much everyone plays on that one team. However, TNT never release how many points each team got on every day. I don't think they ever have.
Aminbel Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 Does anyone else find it odd that Krawk Island had a draw with 2 different teams, 2 days in a row for Slushie Slinger?
Batman Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 *tear yeah. I hate that game and i did try (I sent three scores. haha.) It is kind of unnerving though.
Aminbel Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 *tear yeah. I hate that game and i did try (I sent three scores. haha.) It is kind of unnerving though. I hate it too but I sent in I think 6 scores yesterday. I just think it's weird to score the exact same points as 2 different teams 2 days in a row in the exact same game.
hawtie Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 i have figured it out 600 wins on Shootout Showdown = Level Up 50 wins on yooyu ball = Level up 600 wins on Make some noise Level Up I just got ranked to level 2 and i had 92 yooyu ball wins 69ish shootout show down = 600/69= 8 yooyu ball wins (all within the minimum scores of course) not sure on the slushie slinger.
m00fin_hearts_chocolate Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 :D *smiles really big* so,Lost desert won against terror mountain, except on shootout showdown, that was a draw.:thumbsup:I'm going to play more yooyuball!

That is how i feel. We have drew on that game twice and yet i still cant bring myself to playing it... So instead i go to yooyuball. I am hoping for at least level 5 today since i am so close to it already.

Batman Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 I played a lot of last minute SS but we still lost lol. Btw, I'm level 5 already :P Thanks to the ultimate SSD tip. I am worried to do that because what if they average your scores sent for the day. I personally just play the entire game. I am probably like 5 games away from level 5 though. I didn't play as much today because i had to make dinner and all the other things i had to do today. I still managed to play almost 100 games of YYB. Don't know what came over me but oh well.

Batman Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 Sadly i busy on friday too. I wont be able to send in my billion scores to YYB that day. I will just have to play as much as i can before i leave i guess.
antiaircraft Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 TNT doesnt want us to know how they calculate the scores?hmm...maybe they just think up who wins and stick with that?I dont kow.hopefully they dont do THAT. This has been suggested before, but I don't think that theory holds much weight (unless you're feeling really frustrated about the results :P ). I don't know about TNT, but personally I think it would take a lot less effort to rig up a simple system to collate and process the results than to fabricate a convincing set of results for each match. Does anyone else find it odd that Krawk Island had a draw with 2 different teams, 2 days in a row for Slushie Slinger? From what I hear, it's a Krawk Island tradition to focus on Yooyuball, sometimes at the expense of the side games. xD

thybo_rikke Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 I am going to play some more SS even though the game takes so long o_O But I am pretty good at it and I want KI to do good in that game too... Anyway back to playing :)
GnarlyBagel Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 Does anyone else find it odd that Krawk Island had a draw with 2 different teams, 2 days in a row for Slushie Slinger? I think that what ever TNT uses to calculate points in each game, if the amount of points the teams have are within a certain number, they consider it a draw. PS w00t 3 KI supporters in a row!

PS w00t 3 KI supporters in a row! That was my conclusion from our two draws in a row. I have forced myself to play a few games of SS today. I have also spent a lot of time on SSD and YYB. Those two are my favorite games.
Utena Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 I can't remember from last year. Are the points we receive to buy prizes at the end based simply on yyb/ss/msn/ssd wins, or do goals and scores come into it? If not, what IS the point of racking up a bunch of goals? (I mean, I assumed it went to the algorithm for wins and losses, but who really knows?)
Batman Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 They say that everything that you do helps. We don't know what is used to get the actual point system since they won't tell us. On a side note im almost positive this has been asked and answered a few times on separate boards.
Utena Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 The prizes part? Because I've seen several questions about how TNT scores who wins and loses, but I haven't seen any questions about how prizes work.
