odee
does neopets work fine using Linux OS? im planning on changing my OS to fedora next month.
antiaircraft
The Neopets site itself works fine on Linux (after all, it is a website, not some highly specialised program :P ). The only thing you'll have trouble with is some games - Adobe Shockwave Player and the 3D Life Player aren't available for Linux, and Adobe Flash for Linux is a memory hog. Most software vendors don't really care about Linux users. It's extremely irritating. <_< But yeah, things will work fine, except for the occasional specialised game.

antiaircraft
Well, that kind of defeats the point of being on Linux. :P Most games work well without virtualization, Flash just crunches up RAM like a starved pig (Key Quest is particularly slow). If you do want to use VMware, it'll probably be even slower unless you have copious amounts of spare RAM, so only use it when you need Shockwave or 3D Life Player. Fedora (and most other Linux distros) should be able to automatically help you set up a dual boot with your existing operating system, so if you're comfortable with rebooting when you need to play those specialised games, there's no need to bother with VMware anyway.
