CasiCane.
[rant] So yesterday my dad took me to get my checks cashed from my birthday/christmas, which gave me fifty dollars. Naturally, I put it in my wallet, which I put in my zipper pocket in my purse, WHICH I carry with me everywhere because....I need space for all my womanly junk. *nod* Just to mention, earlier the next day I gave ten dollars to my friend since I owed her money. Today, I had it with me in Lab. Lab for me is working in a kitchen/restaurant for about 2 1/2 hours out of a normal school day. I sat it in the bathroom after I put on my Waitress outfit and went to start serving. Now I had been in my purse about....ehhh 5 times? I took it back to class and was sitting there, when I took out my wallet and saw that I was missing a twenty! Grrr. And these people aren't strangers, I've known them since September and they're all pretty cool. So our subsitute called down the Culinary Arts Advisor, yay *twitch*. And she said, "whoever had money stolen from them should have kept their purse in their locker, that's what lockers are for, I have no sympathy for who got money stolen from them." .... :grrr: I mean, I understand where she's coming from....I should have kept it in a safer spot, but I wouldn't expect a fellow classmate, whom I'm going to be seeing for the next year and a half, to steal money from me. She also said that there was nothing she could do about it. >_____< So far nobody has come clean or said they did it, but they better! VirginiaTech
I've actually had a fifty put and put it in my wallet. It was on Christmas at my Grandma's. When i got back it was gone. That was my family! I know how you feel.

FutureTXTurkey
Yeah I had my camera stolen from me at my sisters wedding... I don't mind the camera loss, so much as I mind the loss of the pictures. Of course that didn't have to be family that could have been the staff? Anyway, that sucks CasiCane. Sorry about the loss. CasiCane.
Yeahs, it's okay. I mean...I have money in the bank, but that's all for college and stuff. But still, it was money from my grandparents.
janalseiya
That's a bummer that you had money taken away from you. I've had that happen to me too, but from now on I 1. Drag my bag everywhere I go, 2. Ask someone I know to be trustworthy to watch it for me 3. Leave the purse, just take the wallet out ^_^
