Gift giving

I am not complaining about it, just wondering: I got a bunch of "presents", from neofriends and even from some usernames I don't know.

 

I was wondering if neopets was awarding avatars or something else for giving stuff away?

I think TNT's idea was to just send NC gifts (is it NC gifts?) to people that you wanted to give them to.

And its like real life, when you give someone a gift you don't expect to have anything in return. The giver just wants to give a gift. ^_^

So...if you really want to repay them, give them a gift back, or buy from their shop. Or maybe its just their way of saying 'Merry Christmas' :P

Oh, and to answer your question, no, I don't think they are giving any avatars or something like taht so far.

Me and my hubby both got something from a total stranger (and not the same person). I checked it's value before accepting just to be careful but we're still clueless and I, of course, accepted it before managing to click on their name to view who they were :(

Me too! I wish they had some way to access older event logs, at least up until 2 weeks old, like neomail! There is an item log in the inventory, I have never been able to get it to work!

 

Weird to get gifts like that, like a cyber elf/santa gift exchange. Play it forward, lol.
