I thought I'd better ask...

I bought a slorg some days ago for the avvie..

Will zapping it with the petpet lab make it not give me the avatar after 100 days? Cause I don't wanna waste 100 days of waiting for nothing XD

I will stop zapping it so it wouldn't turn into a pile of soot..but since it's already zapped, do I need to remove it then re-attach it to my pet?

You can receive the slorg avy with a zapped pet (I think).

But if you zap it, it can change to another species, a pile of soot, or disappear. In these cases, you will not receive the avatar. So I guess it's more safe to wait. 100 days are not so long :P

if you zap your slorg and it changes species, you will not obtain the avatar for the slorg.

Best to wait. There is a way to get its level up though. Battle in the Petpet Arena (via Darigan Citadel) and win 10 times, without any losses. But not using the petpet lab ray is the safest option. It's a very random ray!

just be patent and wait or fight him....I made the mistake of zapping the wrong pet the other day and ZAP! all the time I spent wasted as he changed species.

 

Now I am more careful!

Yea I stopped zapping Slorgy. I didn't zap him for a reason really, it's just that he's attached to the Pet Lab Rat :P
