Unstream Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 When you select an ability during battle, it lets you choose whether it should be weak, medium, or strong. What's the difference between the three?
*SG* Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 My understanding is that it effects your pet's ability to defend itself against a counter attack. But I could be entirely wrong. So hence the stronger attack leaves you wide open for counter if they can, and the weak leaves your defense higher
Magz Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 ^_^ I think it might make the attack weaker if you lower the level of attach, but it might lower your health pts because it may take more energy!! Try it out, you could figure it out!!
Pirate Dante Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 It affects on the power of the ability you use, the attack modifier your pet uses then is equivalent to Cautious attack (being 0% more damage to both opp's). In example, Fierce would modify the damage so, that both do 40% more damage to both of you. But, about the actual question, the difference in weak, medium and strong, is that strong uses ability gauge more than medium and weak, but gives more power to the abilities. By the way, if you use your whole ability gauge, you can't use abilities nor stances, only weapons.
Unstream Posted December 17, 2008 Author Posted December 17, 2008 What about an ability like Water Vapour? It's supposed to heal 33% of the lost HP right? So what would changing the strength of that do?
Pirate Dante Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 Heals less, wouldn't that be quite logical?
Unstream Posted December 19, 2008 Author Posted December 19, 2008 Oh okay. Thanks for clearing it up everyone!
