Guest Xanaar Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 I just got a Christmas Magic Wand from key quest, and it has a 'use on -petname-' option... what does it do? Quote
nuclophobic Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 I don't think it does anything. I had a look at it on the Shop Wiz, and it's description says "It doesn't actually do anything, but it's very pretty!" Oh well, you can sell it for around 4000np, if you wanted. :) Quote
maxwerx Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Magic Vial, Magic Key, Magic Wand, Christmas Magic Wand, Magic Hat, and Christmas Magic Hat do not do anything. I hope this helps you decide whether to hang on to your item or to sell it. Quote
mxpxrocks222 Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 so then is it a toy since you can use it on a pet? i havnt gotten any yet, so i don't know. :* Quote
maxwerx Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 so then is it a toy since you can use it on a pet? i havnt gotten any yet, so i don't know. :* A scientific experiment was performed. Bluwerx the Cloud Lupe was the subject. Gratchwerx the Speckled Ruki was control. A Christmas Magic Wand was used on Bluwerx through the inventory action window. A message appeared under Bluwerx's picture; the message was "Nothing happens." The wand vanished from inventory. The Christmas Magic Wand currently sells for 3,900 NP. Quote
Unstream Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Maybe it has a special effect on Christmas pets? I don't know, but did anyone ever test that? Quote
The Darkest Faerie Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 I tried with my Christmas Wocky - Very_Wockilicious Nothing happened... <_< Quote
ChaoticFission Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 there could be a 10% chance that something cool can happen to your pet, like gain a level or something. or maybe it only effects pets that meet certain criteria. i think more testing is in order... or we wait until TNT unveils the answer. Anime Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 Or we can do what I did and google it. According to Neoitems (or at least, their forums) they do nothing. So yeah, confirmation. Quote
