*SG*
I have read and been told but have yet to prove the theory that if you spin the wheel exactly on the hour you will get the 10K. Three times, I know I have hit it dead on and once even to the milisecond. Still no 10K. So is this all just a hoax or is the game out to get me? lol
nuclophobic
I don't think there's any set time that you have to spin the wheel to get 10k, or any other prize. I think it's all just luck and random results.
sentinelzm
All random. I've got the avvie and I'm quite sure I didn't wait specifically for any time.
antiaircraft
I'm pretty sure that TNT stated in an editorial that the Wheel of Excitement was completely random - I can't seem to dig it up though, so don't hold me to that.

YahuhItsJake
Well I Got The Avatar Like 3 Months Into My Membership When I Spun Everyday. Like Nuclo Said, Its All Luck. =)
maxwerx
It is random. I think the hour theory is just a theory based on this fact: if you win at 10:23, then you don't remember the time you won. But if you win at 10:00, then you remember the time and tell others about it. All the other people who spun at 7:00, 8:00, etc., could also recall the time they spun. From that, the theory grew. My advice is just to spin it and forget about the avatar because it's really random. I spin the wheel each day I'm online. Other than 2 months when I was really busy, I was online 4 or 5 times a week for about 10 months and I've been online 7 days a week for the past 2 months. Still no 10,000. Still no avatar. But it's better than other avatar activities like Lever of Doom. The wheel at least gives cool prizes even if you don't get the 10,000 and the avatar.
