To My Fellow Designers

If you're a designer and even some programmers, at some point in your life you'd have people ask you to do something for free.

 

I found this a few years ago and I make a point to keep it on hand. I use this more often then I should but it's a simple response to everyone who wants us to do something for free.

yea, i used to get that all the time. my friends would ask me to give them discounts... annoying. a rule of thumb is not to work with friends or family.. you will most likely have to work very hard for very little.

 

i got reciprocal discounts from this one guy tho.
