quiet_jubjub
I'm running Ubuntu OS on my computer and WINE isn't quite helping where i need it. Since i would like to try and find a way to play W.O.W. and other online games. I absolutely boycott Microsoft since the OS's aren't very stable and i have to do virus checks and defrags every day and sometimes even wipe my whole harddrive almost every week. If anyone knows a way to get online window games to work on linux let me know.
antiaircraft
Welcome to Linux. ;) Unfortunately, if you want to run Windows programs on Linux, Wine is about as good as you'll get... It is, quite honestly, still a developing project - running a program designed for one OS on another is no easy task. That said, Wine is one of the fastest improving projects I've ever seen. Incidentally, World of Warcraft has a 'Gold' rating on the Wine application database (its entry is here), meaning it should run almost perfectly. What problems are you having exactly?
