phantms
Stats HP 161 (training to 175) STR 85 DEF 125 SPEED - 43 INTEL - 500 I'm pretty flexible on the species of my pet Notes: I battle 2 player I am not looking into a freezer I am looking to stay here in league 8 Not looking for more than one pure shield, dual duties play well with me though Budget: 11 million** Income: I make a net profit of about 1 million a month ** Updated, another mil popped in
Pirate Dante
Considering you only play 2-P, I would highly recommend that freezer, but since you probably will be in guild wars and such where freezing is banned, we'll leave it out of consideration. Since you train evenly your STR and DEF, dual-duties are actually an viable choice. Your new set: Bzzt Blaster Bzzt Blaster Ylanas Blaster Downsize! Mask of Coltzan Dusty Magic Broom Honey Potion Gelert Healing Remedy You will need to save a bit to get these, but for a 8-league, this set should be fine. You'll also have to morph your pet to a gelert. If you think you can't get the money for them fast enough, just post a bit here and I will make an bit cheaper set for ya. Cheers, Dante
zia
unfortunately nowadays the dual duties wont cut it. you may be better off going with a gshield + constant weapon since youre trying to tank if freezing is allowed, you MUST by a freezer, or you WILL lose, there is no exception to this, unless league wars ban it. if so, i'd follow dante's advice except skip the blasters (all three of them) and swap them all out for a Dark Faerie Collar. its triple duty, and works nicely in that boost since you see some SoS/PCC. pair that with something that gets through gshield (like a portable kiln) and you've got a nice way of breaking shields + defending. maybe add in a ylanas blaster forg ood measure if they're using RoTL, you'll need a backup. ps: Dusty Magic Broom + Mask of Coltzan used to be a deadly combo, i won countless matches with those two, but 85boosters now wont be so kind as to use rsbs/scuzzys. keep the moc though, that'll still hold useful. phantms
Sorry, heres the deal on freezers: Until the day that freezers are a part of league battling again, I won't even think about using one, as its basically 7 mil down the drain for 95% of all guild wars I'm not necessarily trying to tank, it's just that if I trained evenly to 85, i could get my hit points to about 178 to max out league 8. if i train defence one boost up, i can train my pet to 176hp, so as most people would do, i sacrificed the extra 2 hit points for a whole boost of defense. i'm just trying to find a nice balance with one shield, a few dual duties and a few constants; of course if you believe id be better off with 2 or more shields (hopefully not more than 2) then by all means suggest it dante: that set will cost me a little less than 9.5 i believe so no need to save :) zia: im a bit confused, i should add a dfc and pkiln to dante's advice set, discarding dmb, bzztx2. would i really need the pkiln if i already have moc? set so far that i can decipher from the advice: 1 dfc (could anyone give me a price check on this?) 2 pkiln 3 ylanas 4 d! 5 hp 6 ghr 7 moc 8 _____ also i added another mil to the budget, nice outcome from stocks
Pirate Dante
Deflation is nice, right? ;) Checked the price of Dark Faerie Collar, and none were priced in TP, and auctions had 2 with prices of 7,5M and 9,5M. It attacks with mass dark, giving Ghostgershield and RotL a nice blocking chance. (Yes, those may come against you there). It blocks light, which is not so common at this level. And 25% reflect is not going to help you enough. Personally, I don't battle 2-player too much, but this is the set I would strongly suggest. phantms
So are you saying to go with the set you mentioned in your first post?
Pirate Dante
Yes, but have you thought how much does a gelert morph cost? In addition to the weapons, you have to morph your pet. :P
zia
i just dont see the use of having 2x blasters + yblaster, the icons spread a lot, sure, but its too weak. a gshield or ftab would cripple it severely o_O youre basically paying that 3m+ for a weapon that (even if you use both at the same time) just barely wins over gshield + WoR/BoD. i say put it all to getting a stronger constant instead of 5x constants that are 9-12 icons... agreed with the gelert remedy, or Kacheek Life Potion, Mask of Coltzan Ultra Bubble Gun Kacheek Life Potion (or gelert remedy) Downsize! Honey Potion overwhelming air/water with fire is a paiinnnn unless they have an ftab, and if they do, thats where the DFC comes in handy, which has deflated to under 7m, but wont be price efficient with this setup.. that lineup really hurts gshields though, so if thats their main shield, ubg + moc really really hurts them. or MoC + Ftab/gshield could be somewhat nice :P along with a cheap 10iconer in case they have a fire reflect xD, theres a lot of ways you can go with this
Pirate Dante
Deflated to under 7M? the cheapest I found, was at 7,5M. You say that f-tab would hurt these alot. IF they have F-Tab, the DFC is handy, but IF they don't, and instead use G-Shield, you will waste one turn using the DFC. I agree with you that it could be used, but with the current price, it's just not worth it.
