Guest Levy
I am not sure what to expect. I got home from school today and automatic updates pointed out an update for XP, Service Pack 3. I'm downloading it now... I'll add more to this topic when I see it's effects.
antiaircraft
Windows XP Service Pack 3 is pretty much an end-of-life update for Windows XP. It adds a few final tweaks and various security updates (and I've heard it also boosts performance slightly, although I haven't noticed this myself) but there are no really drastic changes. It's still a good idea to install it though.
zia
yeah nothing major will happen, just think of it as something that'll let you download and run a few newer things, i think you need it for the new microsoft office and stuff, nbd. Guest Levy
I've noticed nothing new... Oh well. At least it is done and out of the way.
antiaircraft
After a bit of research, I've found that there is one significant improvement in Windows XP SP3 (although it might not apply to you). 'Black hole' router detection now works much better (meaning that Windows can now properly connect to wireless routers that don't broadcast their SSIDs). Also, it fixes Vista network mapping, so that XP computers no longer generate a mapping error on a Vista network.

Guest Levy
SP4 might be some sort of hacking program... It is obviously fake.
