I'm not sure I'd have to check. I decided to try my first plot, and I'm completely stymied at the petpet rescue mission. Here are my care records for the last hour or so. 56:00 - check, 56:06 - feed 57:08 - check, 57:13 - wait 58:15 - check, 58:20 - wait 59:22 - check, 59:28 - wait 00:30 - check, 00:35 - bandage 01:37 - check, 01:42 - give meds 02:44 - check, 02:49 - wait 03:51 - check, 03:56 - bandage 04:58 - check, 05:06 - wait (at this point it changed from wait to feed without an intermediate check, but I didn't feed the petpet) 06:08 - check, 06:13 - wait 07:15 - check, 07:19 - give meds 08:21 - check, 08:25 - give meds 09:27 - check, 09:31 - feed 10:33 - check, 10:39 - wait 11:41 - check, 11:49 - bandage 12:51 - check, 12:55 - feed 13:57 - check, 14:01 - wait (at this point it changed from wait to give meds without an intermediate check in, and I did feed the pet pet, wondering if that was what I'd done wrong the last time) My care of this petpet has gone on for hours with no sign of the petpet being healed. My question is, I have a relatively fast cable internet connection, should I be waiting the two seconds over a minute after the last action to "check in"? Should I just check in at exactly 1:00 from the last action? Or, should I be checking in at 1:00 from the previous check in, regardless of how long it took the action (wait, feed etc.) to load?? Help me. The walkthrough here says that this quest has been around for a while and I want to be able to complete it before it closes, as it is my very first one. Yours, Kuliraga I was doing the plot awhile ago and I probably had to do it about twenty times in order to get the skeith to come in and take over. I waited until a minute after the hour, just to be safe. (It's also once every minute, not necessarily every 60 seconds - I noticed you did it after 60 seconds; it doesn't have to be. You can simply check it at 12:01 for example, fix the petpet, and check it again at 1:01, 2:01 etc.). Make sure you don't double click. Also, try counting how many times you help the petpet. The skeith should come in around 10 times after. If you're still having trouble, don't be afraid to say so!! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
antiaircraft Posted August 12, 2008 Share Posted August 12, 2008 As the previous poster said, there's probably no need to wait so long after the minute before checking in. Seeing as you have a fast connection, I'd recommend you try checking in slightly before the 60-second mark for about 10 actions. If that doesn't work, then you'll have to experiment a bit by waiting exactly 60 seconds in between actions, a bit more than 60 seconds, and so on. It's tedious, but unfortunately that's the only way to go about it. :sad01_anim: The good news is that this plot won't be closing anytime soon (at least we don't think so), so take your time. :) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I started at 10:49:08 and checked every time after at 10:50:01, 10:51:01, 10:52:01, and so on. I've tried a million times and on the first try doing this it worked! I absolutely hate to leave anything unfinished so ... I'll stubborn it out. :D If I have a few more hours worth of trouble maybe I'll hop back in to whine. I'm assuming the skeith doesn't really care for me, lol! But this is how i've been keeping track of time: 6:13:01 Feed 6:14:01 Check 6:14:08 Feed 6:15:06 Check 6:15:16 Wait 6:16:07 Check 6:16:17 Feed 6:17:07 Check 6:17:13 Bandage 6:18:08 Check 6:18:15 Wait 6:19:09 Check 6:19:14 Bandage 6:20:09 Check 6:20:17 Wait 6:21:08 Check 6:21:14 Feed 6:22:09 Check 6:22:17 Medicine 6:23:10 Check 6:23:17 Medicine 6:24:10 Check 6:24:16 Medicine I've been doing this by the second! When I have to start over, I just continue at the process or do I go back to the archives so I can then click on the petpet and start everything all over again?
