I am offered an okay-named Robot Jetsam with casing, or an okay-named island kougra with wearables, for my cloud gnorbu.

Both are good offers. Robot can't be painted by a pb, while island is a pretty expensive colour. Jetsam is also LE.

I might get the Jetsam because it's LE. and robot is harder to get, and it's pretty cool looking.

but let's say if i wanted a to trade for a fruit chia, which one would be more likely to trade for one?

Though either way, when trading, you will lose the robot casing/island clothes.

 

I know they are lost when abandoned into the pound. But I'm not sure if the pet keeps them via a trade.

I think that they keep them through a transfer. :)
