TheUnknown
As a(n attempting) part-time restocker, I go to shops and refresh a lot. However, after getting Firefox 3, I've noticed a few... problems. 1. Shops seem to have a heavy tendency of "half-loading". Only the box with the shopkeeper's icon and his/her message seem to appear. :/ 2. Games (specifically those that open a new window like Maths Nightmare and the Princess Lunara one) don't seem to load sometimes. A new window pops up... and that's it. Nothing loads. -_- Anybody else having this problem?
Strategos
No, they're both working fine for me. Have you checked your addons to make sure it's not one of them. As well, what is your operating system?
TheUnknown
I'm using Vista. As for add-ons, I wouldn't be surprised if it was my AdBlock Plus. :/ Upon getting Firefox 3, it seemed to get a lot stricter for some reason. o_O Things that weren't blocked in Firefox 2 were suddenly blocked in Firefox 3. :O It was also the reason I previously had another glitch with items in shops (they would appear with no image, hence they would be unbuyable). :/ So, I'll check that possibility out first. EDIT: Nope. That wasn't it. :/ Other addons are: ChromEdit Plus, <censored> Saved (it isn't this that's the problem most likely, as I only got this add-on recently after I began noticing this), and the Neopets Toolbar that doesn't work. -_- EDIT 2: It seems to be affecting every page actually. o_O
antiaircraft
Hmm... have you tried starting up Firefox in safe mode (just go to "Start > Mozilla Firefox > Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode)")? This will disable all your add-ons, so it's a handy way to tell if one of your extensions is causing the problem.
TheUnknown
The problem actually DOES appear to be from Adblock Plus! :O For some reason, blocking some ads prevents the page from loading entirely. o_O
antiaircraft
Well it should be relatively simple to fix the problem - in what way did you set up Adblock Plus (did you set custom filters or anything like that)?
TheUnknown
I blocked all the ones recommended by the page on this site, then I made exceptions for certain sites and for the ones on Adver-Video.
