TheUnknown
Well, it's official. My AC3 score's probably going to stay where it is now. My "playing" hand has been injured, oddly enough, due to excessive use of it for Yooyuball. >_<
pipdoubledip
How on earth did you manage that??? Did you go to bank a shot at a sharp angle from the top of the goal and move so fast your dislocated your wrist or something? I did that once :P ( Not on Neopets though)
TheUnknown
My wrist's bruised and it's swelling. >_> Since it's touching the wood on my desk and I have to keep on moving, I'm guessing rubbing my wrist on the desk for long periods of time did it. >_< Needless to say, I much prefer keyboard using games. But Yooyuball's keyboard controls... uh... aren't that great.
nparto330
Do you have a special mouse pad with the big hump on bottom wrist. Its worth $20 AUS. Its very good without flat mouse pad.
luv2lindy77
Ouch! :( Sorry to hear it! I've been there before. I work on computers and I play on computers. I use a trackball mouse. Not the one with the ball in the middle, but the type with the ball on the side where my thumb is. It made a huge difference. That and making sure that I keep my wrist straight. You may need a wrist brace and a trip to the doctor. No matter how ergonomic your workstation is, though, you can still get repetitive stress injuries from just plain too much use. Take care of yourself! Btw, I gave up on Yooyuball. I honestly couldn't score a single goal, except for the one I scored by mistake. The controls felt so wrong to me. I tried a different mouse, but it made no difference. I can't get used to the controls. You still get points for the other games, though, right? TheUnknown
Well, I can still play, although it's very slow playing since my left arm (I'm left-handed, BTW) doesn't seem to like moving little by little and instead likes to swing erratically all over the place. >_> And I believe you do get points for the other games, but you need to pass a certain score for it to count. :/
youngrace
yeah, i know what you mean......playing yooyuball has definitely not been great for my wrists. have you tried playing on a laptop? i can't see how it'd make things better, but for some reason, playing on a laptop (with the touchpad) has made things a bit easier for me....but then again, that's just me. hope you feel better! Sam of DC
Playing with a touchpad wrecks all my goals. Currently, I'm playing on a laptop-without a touchpad-with a mouse on a strong plastic-covered wood desk. It doesn't hurt. I don't even need a mousepad. And...your wins went up from 100 to 250...good luck
TheUnknown
Yeah, I haven't updated it in a while, hence the seemingly large jump. o_O
Arwen
My wrist's bruised and it's swelling. >_> Since it's touching the wood on my desk and I have to keep on moving, I'm guessing rubbing my wrist on the desk for long periods of time did it. >_< Needless to say, I much prefer keyboard using games. But Yooyuball's keyboard controls... uh... aren't that great. I'm sorry to hear about your wrist. :( I've been having the same problem...my right wrist is currently red and tender where it is constantly rubbing against the desk during Yooyuball. I try to take breaks, like maybe play some Make Some Noise or Slushie Slinger after ever 5 games of Yooyuball. And I'd be careful with MSN too...I pulled a muscle in my left hand during one game.
