How good is Berserk Attack?

After looking at the financial dent that buying hundreds of dubloons has made, I'm think of giving up. XD But not until I get Berserk Attack, anyways (along with decent stats).

 

But exactly how effective is it? Would your raverage stats at level 50 + Hidden Tower Items be enough to get you through the DoN missions and plot enemies?

Berserk attack increases the amount of damage you do by exactly 50%, and increases the amount of damage you take by 50%. It's basically just a 10% upgrade from Fierce Attack, which increases damage taken/dealt by 40%.

It'll give you 1.5/1.4 = 7% increase over fierce attack.

 

I actually dislike using fierce or berserk attack because it also increases the damage done to you. However, it can speed up easier battles quite nicely, and most species abilities require a high level to do more icons too. So go for it. :)

It's also good if you're doing a freeze bomb, since you won't be receiving any damage.
