Nahhh...with all of the other items available, I'm desperately trying to keep things narrowed down. I doubt I'll regret this one. The hat DOES look extremely cute on the rainbow jubjub tho!! I guess it also depends on the color schemes one has going...

 

I'm pretty picky with my layout & what-goes-where, so undesireable wearables that can't be disposed of (some can't even be gifted!!!) irritate me a bit... I like to keep my SDB clear for other purposes :)

Ugh...pass. I don't need any more unwanted wearables adding up...pretty soon, I'll be adding a "Crap I Really Hate & TNT Won't Let Me Get Rid Of Them" section to my gallery :sad01_anim:

That about sums up my feelings right now...I averaged over 10 goals per game, didn't lose any, played all the side games... According to the TDN calculator vs the AC prize points I got, I must have sent in 1 or 2 invalid scores of MSN or SOSD (TDN said 36,151, I received 36, 149)

I must smell funny or something... :worried:

All-star for 40,000 points? Absolutely NOT!!! I made it to TDN's rank 25 - well past All-Star - and all I managed to earn was 36,149 points. I played 2000 games of Yooyu Ball ALONE!! I'm thinking if you want to get the top points, you better be prepared to play 4-5 hours + of Neopets EVERY DAY, including finals.

 

I wasted over a month learning this the hard way, but I hope this can help everyone else :)

Furthermore to the whole "Getting the inflation down" thing, has anyone else noticed an increase in random events that take neopoints away? I've been getting a lot of the ghosts & a couple others lately...it's only a tiny hit each time, but still: they sure seem a lot more frequent...

Last year i killed myself with the cup. This year i took it nice and easy and finished with being level 6. Which is one higher then i expected to get to. I am happy with it.

WHEW!! Made it to level 25...tho after all the effort, it feels like it should be level 250!! Time for bed now :)

There is a trick to each type of ball...took me until I hit level 17 before I remembered what it was for the faerie yooyu!! I run head-on to the goalie, with my mouse pointer kept just behind the goalie - when my player (usually faithful L. Vickles) is almost at the goal, I shoot straight as I can & it usually arcs right in :) Used to dread the thing, now it is eagerly welcomed :D

hey guys im still a noob on neopets. how would i get one of these items? is there a specific games i have to play? someone help please :(

 

For the Yooyu, it will probably be available exclusively through the Altador Cup prize shop (probably gonna be around 10,000 points - my guess, anyway). For the others, they are paintable with a petpet paintbrush. You can purchase regular petpets through the petpet shops, Shop Wizard, or Trading Post. I don't know offhand how much they cost, tho :( Hope that helps :)

I just wanted to offer a tip for Slushie Slinger that helps me survive it:

 

Start the game, play to between 25-50 points, then open up a new browser while keeping the one with the game going in the b/g. In the new browser, go check your email, change your music playlist, etc...until there are between 4-5 customers at each counter in the game (as we all know & loathe, it takes a bit of time for them to line up - just keep checking back). Clear out the rows, best to start with the top row...and work on one row at a time. Trust me, the 30 seconds or however long you save is a LIFESAVER and makes the game (almost) bearable.

I totally wanted to ask the same thing...I played for the first time last year (after joining late on June 21 or so), but didn't pay much attention!! Anyone remember how it all works?? o_O

Oh, another way I get motivated is the triple threat tournament in DC. We compete in groups of 3 against other groups, plus I was racing one of my best friends to All-star but he beat me there by 96 games. xD

 

And we can see our prize points now? :O

 

They're listed directly under how many more games you have to win :)

My original motivations were the All-Star rank, Yooyus from the prize shop & to help out DC...but now that TDN changed the calculator to show the prize shop points, I'm desperately trying to raise them!! I'm not taking home the mere 'fabulous parting gifts' after all this work!! :D

I get a total of 17 games on Shoot Out, and have had a problem with YYB only once (thankfully!)...I also use IE...At work I use Firefox & there's just a lot of lag in loading the games & sending the scores - Mind you, this could just be the computer...it's not exactly the latest technology ;)

Has anyone else had the glitch where the opposing team is super fast? THAT was a challenge...

The other glitch that I dread is the super-fast ball - when I got it, I found I scored on myself more than anything :laughingsmiley: Definitely best to refresh :)

I think my brain is beginnining to liquify...really looking forward to the break!! o_O :S
